My girlfriends car randomly decided to raise hell and fully shut down when she was driving home. At first start up it’s completely fine, after 5-10 seconds her entire dash lights up and it shows a check BSM and TP monitoring system. The car loses engine temp, rpm cluster and mph cluster. The engine and transmission drive completely normal but her electric power steering shuts off. I’ve tested all the mini fuses, sanded and cleaned off all the grounds in the engine bay, made sure all the wiring harnesses are plugged in. What else can I check? Is this a common issue with these 2018 Hyundai sonata’s?
