Now take this with a grain of salt because I am a day one Jacinthe defender, but I’ve been replaying ZA and noticed that Urbain is, like, unnecessarily rude to Jacinthe, like just ditching her tournament, just kinda being rude to her throughout her whole “arc”?
Please tell me if anyone else has noticed this!
[EDIT] I’m gonna be honest here I’m really tempted to just delete this post I just wanted to point out something I’d noticed while replaying the game and I didn’t expect one of my fav characters to be hated so badly, I’m just tired of this

Asking because I recently read “Village of the Mermaids” by Carlton Mellick III, and found it…well, not really disappointing, just eh (spoilers here but >!I could’ve done without the baby eating on the last page and Jackson you deserved so much better you were the only sane damn person in that book!<)
Please let me know anything you recommend in the comments, have already read “Into The Drowning Deep” by Mira Grant and I’d love to hear about any more types of mer-horror!

First off, I’m very sorry if this isn’t actually extreme horror, I’m just putting this here because the other book of his I read, the weird candy cannibal one which I really didn’t like, seemed pretty extreme to me (or maybe I’m just weak lol)
Secondly, I do like mer-horror (while not extreme, I’d definitely recommend Into The Drowning Deep by Mira Grant if you’re interested in that), and i was wondering if this book would be worth getting?
