First time eating savory oatmeal

I added red onion slices, chile (chiltepín), grounded pepper and salt.
It was honestly good.
Thanks for the inspiration!

First time poster, long time lurker

I’ve been looking at your beautiful pictures of oatmeal, and I got inspired to make some custard oatmeal my own, it changed my life. Now I can’t picture myself not having this for dinner.

Recipe
50 g of oatmeal (rolled)
125 ml coconut milk
5 g cacao (non sugar)
2 eggs
1 medium grated carrot
Cinnamon
1 table spoon of hazelnut cream

So I boiled my oats with a cup of water and cinnamon, until it almost completely evaporated, I whisked my eggs with the carrot and milk together, then I added it to the oatmeal and kept whisking it on low fire.
I added the cacao and a little bit of vanilla.
When it was cooled down I added the hazelnut cream.

Thank you for inspiring me.

Sorry the pics are not so aesthetic.
