My VR&E counselor stated in an email, "I am interested to see if your Service-Connected Disabilities are so severe that it prevents you from obtaining and maintaining employment as soon as you were discharged from the military." Do I stand a chance if I have been employed since I got out almost a decade ago? My current job has no real career path and has worsened some of my disabilities over the 6 years I have been in this role, but the statement emailed makes me feel like I stand no chance since I have consistently been employed since I was discharged from the military. I had to pay bills somehow.
