My wife and I remember a short video. Likely a vine, perhaps on instagram, small chance TikTok.

A kite flying high in the sky, shaped like a pair of pants. PANTS. Nelly Furtado’s iconic “I’m like a bird” loops in the background as they gloriously billow in the wind.

We remind each other of this masterpiece often. We both remember it in great detail. I’ve spent days of my life scouring internet trying to find it again. NOTHING. Not a shred of evidence of its existence. Was it ever real? A shared dream? Hallucination? Another timeline?
