90% recovered with this protocol

I was in a terrible state after illness and mutilple rounds of antibiotics and severe and I mean severe constipation started over night after a catheter(male)

I started high dose magnesium oxide nightly to get things moving and was on that for months it worked but it caused loose stools and Incomplete evacuation but at least I was going and seeing some progress then hit with another round of antiobiotics and my bowels were worse then ever constipation, weird shaped stools, mucus mutilple morning visits even after high dose magnesium.

I knew I was OK before illness 45 years normal bowel function so I felt I could get back.

This is what I did.

I researched that chronic stress could burn through b vitamins, mad high dose magnesium oxide could actually be disrupting gut flora.

So I started b vitamin replenishment in the form of a good complex but along side it I added ttfd the fat soluble form of B1 I then took the decision to try and come off the magnesium oxide which I tapered gradually.

During that process I added ginger and artichoke and l cartaninne suppplement 2 at night.

Now I can say for sure but around two weeks after he b vitamin protocol started and just a couple of days after the ginger and artichoke I stsrted using the bathroom normally for the first time in 6 months.

Sincs the end of January I have been able to use the bathroom each morning, have stopped thr magnesium oxide altogether and now onmy take one ginger and artichoke supplement which is half the reccomended dose and have continued the thiamine and b vitamin therapy.

I was never with a bowel probeoin my life before all th illness and I think the daily stress and laxarive use combined to burn up thiamine and also disrupt my gut flora further.

I am still suffering from bathroom stress even if it's delayed or I don't pass what I feel is normal volume but from where I was in later January to today I would say I'm 90% better.

I hope this helps someone at least

Would these supplements be strong enough to fix chronic constipation on there own, I ask because since taken them I now use thr bathroom once a day I've been able to come off magnesium completely. I am trying to figure out how influence they are having are they mild I know their mechanisms but I am. Wondering how much they are driving things.

From all I've read they are supports only they don't drive a movement?

I would like to test to try and come off them aswell eventually.
