Hello! We are currently in Maui and have two nights left. Both Thursday (tomorrow’s) and Fridays forecast don’t look super favorable. Was wondering if anyone had any advice regarding if it would be worth it for sunset and stargazing?

I was wondering if anyone had insight or suggestions of excursions/activities or trails for my parents who are 60 and 70 years old in Maui this May! We are going as a family but parents want to do something solo for one day so trying to find something that they’ll be able! They are average in fitness, not super fit but able to walk and stay energized.
Some insight - we are staying in the Wailea resort area. Already planning to do Haleakala summit as a family as well as some relaxing beach time. Debating to send them on a road to Hana tour but I’m not sure if the amount of time spent in the car will be worth it for them.
Anyways, appreciate and suggestions or advice anyone has :)
