I made a post here recently on getting the whole Mafia series on Steam for less than $60. Well I beat Mafia 2 earlier today and I loved it. I like how even though you could tie it to the first one, especially since the two main characters’ involvement in the first game, but you really don’t lose anything if you started with Mafia 2. Just installed Mafia 3 so I’m gonna start that.
So I recently got a dock(official one from Valve) for my Steam Deck. I set it up and I hook my Xbox controller up to it. I plug my headset into the controller. Nothing. Tried unplugging it and plugging it back in. Still nothing. Even changed the speaker output to external. Nothing. Is there something I’m missing? I’ve tried looking it up but haven’t found anything that helped.
Tuesday I had bought Mafia 1-3:DE and Old Country on a Steam sale for less than $60. Never played a single Mafia game before. So I installed Mafia 1:DE Tuesday afternoon and I beat it last night before going to bed. I absolutely loved the game. I know some people online complain about how short it is, but I honestly loved the length. I like a good, short and sweet story. And this game delivered on that. I had some minor gripes about certain gameplay mechanics. Specifically the driving and motorcycle mechanics. But all in all, I really loved the game and I’m very excited to play Mafia 2:DE.
