Need helping identifying Colt 1911!
This is a service grade pickup from the CMP. I’m trying to get some history behind it, but I don’t see any noticeable arsenal rebuild markings near the trigger area.
serial number indicates a 1943 build
Can the almighty 1911 hive mind fill in some blanks for me?
