how to know when cis dudes are into someone??

so like, it's one thing when a girl is crushing. blushes, acting cute/demure or whatever, etc. but cis guys are generally strange imo bc of the lack of emotional aptitude/ability to let themselves be submissive, so how does that show up in attraction?

i'm asking bc i KNOW when middle aged DL dudes are crushing on me, but when i interact with ppl my age (21) or a little older, it's weird and i can't tell if we're being chummy or if they're flirting. like, dudes tease each other, but i can't tell if they're teasing. it's not mean, very smiley, and also mitigated with seemingly genuine friendly moments between?? it's just confusing bc sometimes i feel like i'm being objectified again when it happens. it doesn't help that i thought i was doing well going stealth, but my (unrelated) coworker literally asked if i was trans yesterday.

it should be said i've been told i'm pretty often and have a weird relationship w that fact due to being trans, so it's not uncommon for people to act weird with me when that combines with my autism. i just need to figure out if i'm reaching or not, and if i am i'll need to learn how to chill with guys.

i should also mention that i have very little experience in making friends and comparably more experience in using sensual wiles to cope and adapt w being objectified. hopefully this is a normal thing to be asking on this subreddit... i just hate how my transness inhibits socialization.

edit: i'm just mainly wanting to know the difference in how cis dudes flirt vs how they banter, bc it sounds so similar.
