they worded it weirdly on the acceptance. and ive heard diff answers so idk.

I am no means crazy successful or have really good stats but i have a dream (stay w me).

I applied for a bunch summer programs and only got into two (2 more than i thought !!) and ngl its prolly bc they felt that i needed the experience or smth💀

I got in for CIERA REACH and drumroll…BWSI. dont ask how it was js my rizz 😎

but the problem is that I got into session 2 for reach which is the same time as bwsi (i got in for virtual). I politely asked the reach team to move me but they said they dont know fs until the 14th after and only if ppl switch to session 2 💔

Im gonna be honest I lowk have close to nothing on summer programs (or ecs for tha matter) and went 0/9 last year and freshmen year (i can go only up from there ykyk).

Please PLEASE help. I am not sure who to accept or deny. reach is astronomy, is in-person + lots of aid ( yay!!) whereas bwsi is online and less aviation, but prestigious (?) in for remote disaster btw.

they said they could only accommodate me for the switch if ppl ask to move to session 2 so im lowk cooked and super sad bc my parents (for the first time mind you) said they were proud of me (?!) for getting in a program that has MIT in their title. MIT and harvard are like the only colleges they know lmao for context

I asked the ppl in my school which was a bad idea bc they got waitlisted at bwsi and said I should cancel that AND ciera reach bc apparently college’s dont care abt summer programs and i would be wasting my poor parents money (sure bro 😔☝️)

what should I doo. I hav no experience at all for summer programs and dont know what is the best for me. 🙏🙏😩 ig all i can atp is pray to legit everyone that someone asks to switch 😭
