Other ways to Deal With Anxiety?
I've always suffered from anxiety, mainly physical, meaning my heart is racing for days at a time making me unable to concentrate, sleep, etc. Then I discovered weed basically fixed my anxiety as long as I use it every night after work I feel normal and anxiety episodes don't come back. Besides weed the only thing that I know works is anti-anxiety medications but those are addictive and come with side effects and health effects too.
The secondary reason I use weed is because I have IBS and weed is one of the few things that makes the recurring stomach pains more tolerable.
Every time I take a break from using weed, my anxiety comes back in force (no surprise). Longest I have gone is 3 months but at some point I'm sitting at home after work feeling anxious for no good reason and I just want to be able to be able to relax so I end up going back to using weed. I know for most people using weed increases anxiety but for me it seems to be the reverse.
I want to be healthier and more social and I think smoking/vaping every night gets in the way of this, but I also haven't found any alternate solution for my anxiety.
Currently on day 10 since last using weed and feeling pretty anxious and irritable, wondering what I should do
