Description:
The story takes place on earth in an alternate timeline in a medieval fantasy setting, where the people of the four major continents have lived for the past 350 years among peace and prosperity.
This changes when a horde of demons enters the human realm via a rift, attacking and completely razing an entire town to the ground. For one reason or another, you've decided to put an end to the increasing threat of the demons.
What is Digital Scrolls?
Digital Scrolls is a modern rule system for vTTRPGs, in development since almost 4 years. If you know D&D, you will be able to pick it up easily, but it's a separate world and some learning is to be expected.
The system supports a vast, open world and a strong focus on player agency, where players will never feel like they are being railroaded into the next quest that the GM has prepared.
Like Skyrim, this game features a main quest and plenty of side quests, and your party follows that arc from beginning to end. We don’t use prewritten character arcs — your story grows from the choices you make, the quests you pursue, and how you shape the world. And if you come up with a great idea, we may weave it into the narrative (totally optional).
