Spandau Kar 88 markings

Hello! I’m going to be picking up this Kar 88 and had a couple questions. Firstly, as far as I can find, Spandau never produced the Kar 88. However, after watching C&Rsenal’s video on the rifle, it seems a small amount of 800 Kar 88 were made out of salvaged Gewehr 88 receivers? Something about a shortage to a baker contract? Sadly he was rather brief in this mention. The rifle is all matching so I reckon it’s not a fake of some kind. My other question is regarding the unit marking. I was hoping someone here with a little more knowledge could help me decipher that. Thanks in advance folks!

Hello, hoping someone here has access to the SRS files and let me know if this is a hit. Guns serial is 52682. It’s a model 1873 and has been messed with a bit as you could see in the photos. Very odd. Looks like an 1873 someone decided to turn into a cadet rifle.

Picked this up yesterday among other things and am wondering about its history. Looks to be an O block series gun, but interestingly enough it looks as though the acceptance date has been scratched out. In addition, on the top of the writ it looks as though it had a waffenamp there at some point. The import mark is also interesting as it is a same mark, but the it looks like it was etched 7.92 designating caliber. It’s mostly a mismatch so I’m not expecting a cohesive story, just curious. Thanks!

Picked this up today and was trying to do some more research on the markings on the stock. The rifle is a Steyr produced M95 all matching but the bolt. Oddly enough the upper handguard is also serialized on the left side under the rear sight. Rifle is in 8x56 and was accepted into service in 1917 it looks like. I’ve seen the AOT marks before, but never the 3 chevrons.
