I actually MUST make this coverup for a vacation I have in a month, but I have zero experience freehanding and very little with the mesh stitch. If anyone knows of a pattern similar to this or has any tips for freehanding/getting started, I would be eternally grateful. I would say I’m a somewhat advanced beginner!

also what yarn weight/yarn and hook size you recommend would be super helpful too!
