How's MSc Counselling Psych at Central?
Hi! Could someone who's done/doing this course, or familiar with it, pls help me out with knowing more?
I wish to know more details about the syllabus of MSc Counselling Psych, such as the particular papers that are included in it. Does it include neuro/bio related papers? Also, does it have papers in common with clinical Psych such as psychopathology/clinical disorders etc?
I would also like to know if the course is academically rigorous and challenging as well, or is it only intense in its practical components, while being academically light/simple?
Basically, I cannot get into clinical/neuro psych programs because I lack eligibility. I was selected for Counselling Psych. I like the program and have a heart for it. However, I am a person who needs to be challenged and stimulated intellectually in order to be fulfilled & satisfied. So I was wondering whether the counselling psych course would tend to that aspect too, or does it deal only with emotions and with inclucating the practical skills of a counsellor?
