Need help and suggestions

I might get AUD, NSUT and most Central Universities ( I am leaning towards Rajasthan since home state) according to my CUET PG score

I want to get into academics in long term and want to focus on NET prep and research primarily. Which college should I prioritise? Considering factors such as:

  1. College academics
  2. Finances
  3. Time I will get for NET prep and research projects

I would be grateful if you help me gain more perspective on this.

Is it even worth it?

(Rant) I'm so frustrated. I'm graduating from my 4 year B.Sc honors clinical psychology degree this year and have spent last 5-6 months just figuring out what to do next and applying and preparing for all these entrances. But every single day things just become more and more unclear and I'm just losing track of everything to the point that I'm left wondering if it's even worth it.

I have interned in the clinical field and ever since i've been really interested in it and wanted to pursue it only but becoming a clinical psychologist seems so tough. Idk if im the coward for feeling this way. I have my nimhans exam in a few days and that single exam is costing me around 30k, and its for 10 seats. There's no guarantee and it doesnt stop there. Each college's application form is atleast 1k+ every different amity different form. I come from a middle class family and seeing all these costs (plus the travel, effort, time, confusion) and then seeing the job market, i cant help but wonder if there's any roi that makes this struggle worth it or is it just ki everyone is doing it so u have to.

I was talking to one of my friends about the same and she just said that there's no other way and sb krte h toh krna he pdega. I mean it doesnt quite sit right with me.

I keep feeling that this field is for the priviledged but noone around me agrees with it and say things like bohot scope hai, its a growing field, har field me karna padta h struggle and likes of it. Am i being too negative? Im unable to understand if my perception of things is wrong here.

Dont get me wrong i love this profession and consider it a nobel profession but at the end of the day i am my family's hope for a bright future, and none of that will be possible if im unable to earn.

The system is so fudged up.

With each form i fill, my will to pursue clinical psychology is fading. Does that make me a quitter? Idk what to do from here. Any advice would be appreciated.

When you do not sleep well, your brain literally begins eating itself. A study published in the Journal of Neuroscience found that prolonged sleep deprivation causes the brain’s specialized immune cells to become hyperactive in ways that resemble neurodegenerative diseases like Alzheimer’s.

Can somebody suggest me good bsc psychology colleges in delhi/ncr with affordable fees

I'm a 12th passout. I scored 83.6% in my cbse boards exam(science). I want to get into a good college but with average fees structure. Although I have given my cuet but it didn't go well. So I have really low hopes in it. Please help me out in finding some good colleges with tuition fees around 1-1.5lakh.

Advice needed!

24 f currently doing my MSc Psychology (1st year), and in a few months I’ll complete my second semester. My long term goal is to become a clinical psychologist, but I’m genuinely confused about what path I should take next.

For context, I already completed a 3 year bachelor’s degree and right now I’m doing a regular MSc Psychology program.

However, with all the recent changes and the importance of RCI recognition, I know that eventually I’ll need an RCI recognized Clinical Psychology degree/program if I want to properly work in the field.

Right now, I’m stuck between two options:

1- Complete my current MSc Psychology fully (which would end around Aug/Sept 2027), and then prepare for entrances like NIMHANS, Christ, etc. for an RCI- ecognized Clinical Psychology master’s/program afterward.

or

2 - Complete only my first year, take it as a PG diploma/exit option, and immediately start preparing for entrances like NIMHANS, JRF, Christ, etc. so that I can hopefully get into an RCI recognized Clinical Psychology course sooner and save some time.

the reason I’m confused is because I feel like if I complete the current MSc first, I may lose extra years before entering proper clinical training. But at the same time, leaving midway also feels risky because admissions are so competitive, and I don’t know if having only a PG diploma would weaken my profile if things don’t work out immediately.

I genuinely want to make a practical decision instead of an emotionally rushed one. Has anyone here been in a similar situation, especially in the Indian psychology/RCI pathway? What would you suggest?

It pisses me off when mean ass people confuse gentle parenting with permissive parenting by incompetent adults and justify abusing kids. Read a book. Learn some skills.

Sorry that your parents beat you up and humiliated you in public but no you didn't "still turn out fine" you delusional ###. That's why you are hateful against little human beings who are new in this world and will obv misbehave when their needs are not met or they lack guidance which is a parent's job. Maybe focus on healing yourself first before you bring a new life in this world only to abuse it because you don't know shit.

Also parents who don't want to beat or shout at their kids, being gentle =/= never teaching your kids boundaries and emotional regulation. Your kids will hate you for it one day ngl.

Rant over.

Has anyone gone through the recent May 2026 judgment related to psychology training and qualifications? Could someone clarify whether the M.Phil. in Psychology is still valid? I am currently in the 4th year of my bachelor’s in Psychology

should I continue on this path, or are there changes I should be aware of? Like at this point I really don't know
