Looking for advice on studying Organisational Psychology in Australia 🇦🇺

Hi everyone! I’m from India, currently doing a 4-year BA (Honours) in Psychology from the University of Delhi. I’m planning to pursue a Master’s in Organisational Psychology in Australia and I’m currently trying to decide which university/city would be the best fit for me.

I’m currently considering:

Adelaide University – Adelaide
Deakin University – Melbourne
The University of Queensland (UQ) – Brisbane
The University of Western Australia (UWA) – Perth

I’m not necessarily looking for the highest-ranked university. My main priority is finding a place where I can manage my finances and also build a career after graduation.
I’d really love to hear from current students or people living in these cities about:

How safe is the city and the nearby student areas?

What is accommodation/rent realistically like, especially shared accommodation?

What is the general cost of living for a student?

How easy is it for international students to find part-time work in cafés, retail, sales, admin, hospitality, etc.?

Are there good HR/People & Culture, recruitment or Organisational Psychology-related opportunities in the city?

After graduation, is it realistic to find a job in the same city, or do people usually have to move elsewhere?

How is the university and student environment overall?

And if you’ve studied at any of these universities, would you recommend it based on your actual experience?

I’ll be taking an education loan for my tuition, so keeping living expenses manageable through part-time work is quite important to me.
If you’re studying/living in Adelaide, Perth, Melbourne or Brisbane, I’d really appreciate hearing about your experience especially things you wish you had known before moving there.
Thank you! ❤️
