Abdominal Migraines
Hello other unfortunate suffers. I’ve been suffering from A.M’s since 2024. I’m 33/female & after a traumatic event in the summer and I have had 9-10 episodes lasting anywhere from a day to multiple days to taking 14 days to truly be able to eat properly again. I’ve been taken to the hospital twice because I couldn’t get the pain to stop or stop vomiting. I’m also on an SSRI now & was hoping it would help my flares but it hasn’t really… still have had a flare every month this year… my father did recently pass away so I assume the stress/grief plays a role. I also traveled in March.
Anyways, I’ve been prescribed a triptan Zomig I’m going to try it as an abortive medication my next flare.
I managed to keep my anxiety at bay with 0.5mg Ativan.
