[Fully lost] Amanda Todd youtube video [BACKROUND MUSIC]
For years now, I’ve been on the hunt for a YouTube video, more specifically, the background music to it. I’ve been obsessed with it ever since I was in middle school, and anyone who went to middle school around the years of 2012-2014 has probably seen this video before if your school held an anti bullying ceremony.
The video was of Amanda Todd telling her story through cards. This video had been available up until 2024, when the video was either deleted or privated; every time I had searched for it prior, it was there, now it’s just gone.
Of course, there are many different reuploads of this video, just with different songs playing in the background. I'm searching for one specific video in particular. I’ve tried everything, searching for it on different sites, googling the lyrics, WayBackMachine, and even finding reaction videos from 13 years ago, hoping to catch it in the background.
Some information I can remember from the time and from the song itself: The song had a slow and melancholy vibe, one male singer, and the only instrument used was a single acoustic guitar. Song had a big emphasis on ghosts, and had to have been made before 2012.
Some lyrics I can remember from said song: "Do you fear, still the same reality. Sun come on/out and hide with me." "Your thoughts are blurry and so is the date." "We've got the glue to fix you."
I’m hoping to come across someone who’s seen this video before and remembers it. I just really need clues, I’ve been trying to find the original song and who sings it since I was like 12-13. I’m 25 now, and I still can’t stop thinking about it. Thank you.
