Cytogenetic Technology

I applied for an MLS program, but I never got the letter of recommendations and updated my transcripts because i was set on pharmacy school but things have changed. The program director emailed me a few days ago to see if I was interested in the cytogenetic technology program. I did some more research and it looks very interesting, but I'm concerned on the amount of job openings for this. Is it a good career? Is there job availability? I would rather not wait another year to start the MLS program. I searched on the subreddit but there wasn't that much information.

Doctor hasn't called in meds

I had my first appointment yesterday and the psychiatrist said he would call in a prescription for me. I went to breakfast and called my pharmacy about 3 afters the appointment and they had not sent it. I waited about an hour and called the doctor and they said they will call it in and to check back in before they close. I ended up calling this morning to check on the status of it, and the person on the line said they would speak to the doctor so he can call it in. It still has not been called in, should I just drop it and leave it alone? I dont want to be annoying to the pharmacy or the doctors office. Should I call again tomorrow or no?

new diagnosis

hi guys. i just got diagnosed with bipolar 1 today and it is a lot to process. i've always had symptoms of it and adhd because my father has both, but now that I am 18 I was able to speak to a doctor today and it made so much sense. i am starting medication this week but I am just disappointed in myself. last semester i was working 40 hrs a week and taking 17 credit hours in college and now this semester i had to take a break from work and even failed a class. my gpa dropped from a 3.5 to a 3.0. i feel like my dreams of applying to pharmacy school this fall are falling apart. anyways, i just wanted to ask for some advice on how to deal with disorder. i am also starting therapy soon like instructed. thank you!

Hi. I am a first-year community college student. My current gpa is a 3.52 but it will go down this semester to a 3.4 I'm sure. I have always been inclined to pharmacy; I work in a pharmacy and certified. I’m wondering if I should apply straight to pharmacy school or finish off my bachelor's. I have about 5 more classes, which I am taking some over the summer and fall along with the other pre reqs for pharmacy school and I'll have my associates at 18! I feel a bit stuck because I feel like my gpa is not good enough and then what if I don't like pharmacy as I thought? I'd like to go into hospital or industry pharmacy, but I know its competitive. Maybe I am overthinking because I feel like this semester hasn't gone great because I have been working full time while in school (idk why i cursed myself like that). What should I do?
