Non compete expiring - should I add my current job to my LinkedIn?

I signed a job offer with a non compete in July of last year and only worked there for 2 weeks, when I got a better offer. The non compete was valid for a year after my departure from the company. It was an entry level position.

This past April, I took a risk and joined a company on the non compete, thinking it would fly under the radar. Knock on wood, my door hasn’t been broken down by company A. My non compete is expiring later this month.

I never posted about either company A or my current job (let’s call it company B) on LinkedIn. I was thinking of maybe just adding the company to my profile, not making a big post about it, so at least my connections know I’m employed and it doesn’t look weird to my current company that I don’t have them on my profile. I don’t have anything as a current employer right now. Would this be risky?

UES thrift?

Does anyone know if UES thrift between 88 and 87 is a traditional donation based thrift store or if they do consignment/curate?

I saw a cute jacket in the window and went back to check the price and it was $520! Sheesh!

No LIRR trains running to UBS from GCT/Penn??

Hi! I was planning on taking the LIRR to see a show at UBS on Saturday (6/27) but I’m not seeing any scheduled train times come up on the app… I’ve only taken the LIRR once. Is this stop closed or is the app being weird? Also can’t find any trains from Penn Station to UBS.

Broker never sent a portal to pay rent, now unresponsive, and LL isn’t helping, either 🫩

Hi! I began my lease with 2 other roommates in May. Our broker told us that we would be given access to a portal to pay rent. We never received access. We have been reaching out throughout the month to no avail. It’s May 30th and rent is due soon. We reached out to the landlord multiple times, saying that we hadn’t heard back from the broker and need access to the portal. Finally received an answer from the LL asking if we had asked our broker. This is really frustrating and we don’t want to be fined or anything. The broker used to respond very quickly but hasn’t lately. Anyone else have this issue? Thank you for your help!
