Does anyone know how payment approvals work through the UAE court portal when a company is under a court-supervised restructuring process?

I’m trying to understand if there are limits on how payment approval requests can be submitted.

I was told that payment approvals may need to be submitted in limited batches, and that there could be a waiting gap between submissions. I also saw a general update stating that payments are processed through the court system, released by the bank only after formal court approval, and that recent delays were due to court system maintenance/access issues.

My questions are:

• Can only a limited number of payment approval requests be submitted at one time?
• Is there normally a waiting period between payment submissions?
• Can the trustee/court require approvals to be submitted in batches?
• Once court system access is restored, can all pending payment requests be submitted together, or do they still need to follow a queue/batch process?

Just trying to understand whether this is a normal court process, portal limitation, or case-specific instruction.

Hi everyone,

I wanted to check something regarding car registration renewal in the UAE, especially Dubai.

My vehicle registration expires on 14 May 2026, but the insurance is valid until 14 June 2026. From what I understand, insurance is usually issued for 13 months, with the extra month acting as a grace period for registration renewal.

My question is: if I renew my vehicle registration and insurance before or around the registration expiry date, am I technically losing that extra one month of insurance coverage? Or is the new insurance/registration cycle always calculated from the original registration expiry date anyway?

For example, if I renew in May, will my new insurance still be valid for 13 months from May, or would waiting until closer to June make any difference?

I’m not trying to delay the renewal unnecessarily. Just trying to understand how the grace period and 13-month insurance actually work in practice.

Would appreciate advice from anyone who has renewed recently or knows how RTA/insurance companies handle this.
