The Horse & Other Things

The Horse & Other Things

Apparently I wasn’t clear in my first post. I’m just trying to get advice on how to avoid buying bad designs and how to buy good ones. What do you look for when buying embroidery files? Sorry some people were confused.

I’m finding Reddit to be difficult to navigate. Easy to read but not easy to actually use in a meaningful way; at least not easy for first timers.

Finding Quality Designs

Hi fellow embroidery addicts 😊. This is my first post so if I mess up please give me advice. I’m a retired home deco embroiderer, sewer, artists, quilter. I love creating with my Bernina embroidery machine (very nice), Embrilliance, and my Brother Dream Machine (sewing/quilting only). I don’t digitize. I’m starting to get more than a little frustrated with the amount of time I spend in Embrilliance cleaning up the digitizers designs that I buy. I like working with CAD programs but… How do you pick a good designer/digitizer. I literally spent days cleaning up this horse and this is not the first time. After 2 days of this I am finally able to put the throw pillow together. Any words of wisdom from y’all is really appreciated.
