glazing my fav byler authors
i wanted to show some love to several of my favvv byler authors, and i encourage you to drop your favs in the comments as well! all of these authors have 3+ byler works on ao3, and their stories are really well-written, original, and compelling. what's more, none of them have traces of claude ai in their coding. in the wake of so much bummer news since yesterday about ai in fics/fandom (which is absolutely worth discussing and should be taken seriously), i thought this thread might be a bright spot for people to share love for their favs. :D
-eredmes - every single story they write is a triumph. something about their writing style just thrills me. “pushing it down and praying” is one i recommend to all my friends, and “remember me, love (when i am reborn)” is one of my fav bravebyers stories
-jeaanmoreau wrote my favorite longford nsfw byler story, “touch me with a kiss, feel me on your lips.” the premise is so perfect, i liked this better than any of the other top lawless byler stories and the ending was so insanely beautiful
-peachstatic. How to Disappear Completely is my favorite wip at the moment, which is taking the fandom by storm and is wildly cool and original, even in formatting, but they have other works that are absolutely worth visiting if you haven’t yet. My Will Is Good and its sequel Come As You Are blew me away
-wayward_sherlock is a powerhouse, they have like 41 byler stories, but the casual au series is the one i keep returning to. it's so charming and warm and fuzzy and sexy and just AHHHH <3
-woodthrushtattoo is 2 chapters shy of completing my fav s5 rewrite, Your love is tried and true blue. it is totally unique with some new lore, and i wish i saw this version on netflix instead of what we got from the suffer bros.
-falloutboi - most of their works are short stories, like one chapter, and i spent a whole day blowing through as many as i could
-epilogueboyfriend - i got hooked by You Were on the Run, so You Took My Last Name, which I thought was such an original and heartwarming story, I could cry just thinking about it
-cyclogenesis (addictedkitten) just made the cut with 3 total byler stories, but they’re all particularly amazing. 2 are a mike pov and the third is a will pov, and i think this author has a great grasp on both of their personalities and how they’re different from one another
