UK based Warhammer competition site , what would make you trust it or avoid it? advice
Hi everyone. I’m Lewis, one of the two hobbyists behind Legion Comps (google us ☺️) , a new UK competition site dedicated to Warhammer and tabletop hobby prizes.
We launched last week and produced six winners in our first round. Every advertised draw went ahead on schedule regardless of ticket sales, even though several competitions ran at a loss. The winners and full draw results are published publicly, and their prizes are being dispatched.
We’ve worked hard to build the business around fairness and transparency:
• Now officially Rafflers Certified
• Publicly verifiable draw results
• Capped ticket numbers with live sales displayed
• Secure payments through DNA Payments
• Free postal entry with the same chance per entry
• Winners and previous draw results published publicly
• Draws take place on their advertised dates
• Run by real hobbyists—not a faceless competition company
Despite promoting on Facebook, Instagram and TikTok, new registrations and sales have slowed over the past couple of days. Rather than assuming cheaper tickets or more advertising will automatically solve it, I’d genuinely appreciate some honest feedback.
If you have a minute to look at the site:
• What would make you hesitate before entering?
• Is being a new and unfamiliar company the biggest concern?
• Are the prices or ticket limits unattractive?
• Are there too many competitions available at once?
• Is the entry and checkout process clear?
• What additional proof or information would help you trust us?
There’s absolutely no expectation to buy anything. Blunt, constructive feedback would genuinely help us improve.
