Review of a Lesbian Mystery Called "Not Hers to Possess" by Rhonda Webster

I was a little hesitant to choose this story because the cover was pretty dark and right now, things have been tough for me, so i wasn't sure i could handle reading about too much meaness or trajedy. However, I found that the good outweighs the bad in this story!

This author's characters included a strong and loving lesbian couple, an intelligent and determined lesbian detective, and a gay community that banded together when help was needed.

The author showed a butch going through more than she could handle and going off the deep end, yet, all was not lost.

The sex scenes could warm a person up on a cold and lonely night >big grin< and the story ended well.

It isn't a long story, so I would rate "Not Hers to Possess" as a fast and enjoyable read..

Review of a Lesbian Mystery Story

I just read a book called "Not Hers to Possess" by Rhonda Webster.

The characters were a little more mature than many and I found it was enjoyable to read about a stable committed lesbian couple.

I identified a bit with Salvia, a hard working butch who wound up with a whole shit load of bad luck.

The strong and determined lesbian detective was likable as well!

The book cover was dark though, so I was a bit afraid this story may have been too dark and trajic but I would say it was more optimistic. For one thing, this author dealt with mental illness in a compassionate and positive manner. The way the lesbian community banded together and the ending, were also positive.

Not Hers to Possess by Rhonda Webster

Review of "Not Hers to Possess" by Rhonda Webster

Fast read with likeable committed lesbian couple.
This lesbian mystery had an impressive determined lesbian detective and an interesting butch woman who, through no fault of her own, endured more bad luck than her sanity could handle.

With all the homophobic bad news out in the world today, I enjoyed reading a story with a happy ending.

Not Hers to Possess by Rhonda Webster

Review of "Not Hers to Possess" by author Rhonda Webster.

I enjoyed the relationship between two women in a good partnership and how they pulled the gay community in to help untangle the mystery of what happened to Bella.

I also liked how the author compassionately dealt with temporary mental insanity.

Call me a sap, but i like a happy ending!
