Lennon's Hotel, Broadbeach
Found some photographs my dad took when he visited the Gold Coast as a young adult and really liked this one. Looks a bit like a library. The hotel changed its name in 1965 so it's some time before that.
Reading the history of the site is quite interesting, as I don't remember the nightclub that was there but I must have gone in 1999 when I first moved to SEQ.
I also remember in 1999 there was a buffet style eating place which also served cheap drinks. Might not have been in the Oasis but I feel like it was. Think had a few food safety issues and eventually got shut down.
