How importent is Flavor-Text for you?

For my TCG, I would opt to omit flavor text. Would that be a reason not to play it?

My greatest fear: incomprehensible rule texts and translations.

How do I avoid rule texts being misunderstood?

I fear that, as a result, mechanics that are actually correct will be mistaken for bugs— and that they will therefore be slated for alteration.

Solo Developer — Good or Bad?

I'm not sure whether I should be glad that I'm a solo developer—because it gives me full control over my project—or not, since being a solo developer means I lack significant support. ^^"

Even though I intend to release my project commercially as a matter of principle, I have no ambitious profit motives. Nevertheless, my project is very close to my heart.

Is LibreTranslate sufficient for translating from German to English for my own digital TCG?

I thought about the following:

LibreTranslate,

Deepl,

Google Translator.

Deepl cost for commercially project unfortunately money!

How complex should a TCG be? And how difficult is it to stay relevant in the market?

I have been working on my own TCG for quite some time now. Since I have no hope of publishing it in a physical format, I am working on implementing it as a video game using Godot 4. Would I have better chances in a different market sector? Others have told me that it might potentially be well-suited for the board game market as well— even though, from my perspective, it is primarily a card game.
