Removing timbers under stairs
Hi there, looking for some advice. I removed the plasterboard wall from under our stairs to make more storage. I assumed the timbers were there purely for the plasterboard to be tacked to but a bit worried as the stairs have definitely started to squeak more. Any chance these are needed for the stairs to be supported or just for the plasterboard?
