I just recently transferred agencies and the move went very smooth. Just curious on average how long it took for folks’ leave to show up in their new agencies books. I’m sure it varies greatly, but just curious. I’ve been here a couple of weeks now and it hasnt posted yet. Thank you
If I have been with one agency, but have held multiple different job titles, all during the same period of time, say 5-10 years, do I need to add additional employment activities for those job titles on the SF-86?
If someone lands a job at a different agency, and is on PPL, (not full time, but intermittently), what is considered a gap in service for the purposes of having to pay back or not pay back time used? Same for annual leave…if someone has a good chunk of time built up and has use/lose, would they get that paid out and then start over at the new agency or should that also get moved over like sick leave does? I’m unsure if this has been spoken about before, but here’s my question. If someone is offered a position, say at a grade 9 step 8, and the promotion potential on the announcement is at 11, how does that work in terms of getting your grade after a year? The career ladder was 9 to 11. If someone accepted the grade 9 position, after one year if fully successful, would they get the grade 11 and keep the step? I appreciate any clarity.
What is the norm for amount of interviews a candidate normally goes through before selection? I’ve been around a bit, more than a lot, but not as many as others. I’ve only ever been through one phase of interviews before selection and have only seen the same for others. I was selected for a second round for a position I had my first interview for next week. Just try to gauge the norm/what I can expect. Thanks
Any Pro XS experts on here that can lend a hand answering a few maintenance questions? I got off the phone this afternoon with my mechanic of quite a few years now and I can’t tell if what I’m being told is common maintenance or I’m I’m being taken for a fool.
