Am I a villain?

Pull up to a an apartment complex for a reserved airport run. I hit “I’ve arrived” and get the standard “be right there” followed by “I need about 10 minutes”. Really?? You picked the time for the reservation, not me. I wait until the cancel timer runs and cancel for the full fare. Then I take my time leaving and get the rebooking. I was a bit concerned the rider would realize I was the same guy but apparently not. Plus they handed me a $10 at the end of the ride.

Passenger of the day

At the pin in an apartment parking lot waiting past the initial 2 minutes. Get the message from the rider telling me they’re on my left and then hand gestures to get closer to them (they were 8 feet away). And they sent the message and hand gestures while on a call on speakerphone that OF COURSE continued once in the car. Did not say one word to me the entire time. WTF is wrong with people?

Luggage help

So do you guys help people with luggage on airport runs? I usually do for women out of courtesy/manners, but (and I’m sorry for the stereotype) they also tend to be low/no tippers. I’m starting to lean towards just popping the trunk when I arrive
