Im posting this becuz i see so many posts abt ppl wanting to remove damage falloff and its definitely the more popular opinion and i want to fully discuss this and see if maybe my opinion is wrong and i just havent fully thought it out and dont understand.

I think magik having damage falloff makes 100% sense especially with how wide her range is with her sword. idk if im making this up but i always thought she had the widest range compared to most melee dive characters so her having damage falloff makes sense. if they were to take it away, shes going to do less consistent damage to make up for her wider range or even give her less range in general. her range helps her do more area damage which then helps her gain more overshield during group fights. a gud magik will always be up close anyways when diving and trying to kill supports and if u r just diving to get tanks to peel then u would be hitting supports from a bit further back to be better positioned to escape. without that range it takes away her diving potential and survivability becus of the reasons i just named.

if she does have the same range and damage that she does up close then she would just be broken and permabanned since she alrdy does pretty gud damage up close. her one shot combos would always be possible with her consistent high damage primary and mistakes would be hard to punish. she would then just be an insane diver and brawler in anyones hands when rn shes an amazing brawler with diving potential but insane in the right hands.

im open to any ideas and will want to hear ppls thoughts. ill try to respond to as many replies with my own questions and thoughts. if im just disagreeing, im not trying to be stubborn but want to fully flesh out the answer.
