Zoro's feats have almost everything to do with AP and nothing to do with versatility, but somehow that's enough to scale him above Sanji, I find that quite interesting

Narratively, Zeff was a lot stronger than he seemed back on the Baratie, and somehow someway I feel that Oda will revisit that pretty soon seeing as this is a big arc for Sanji

alot of people see him being off guarded by Gin as a downscale, I see it as him sensing Gin putting up a front, he didn't even show a reaction when Gin was supposedly gonna kill Sanji.
