How do you actually keep track of household responsibilities?

Hi everyone,

I've been thinking about how people manage all the small but important household responsibilities, and I'm curious how others do it.

Things like:

  • Remembering AC servicing or RO filter replacement
  • Keeping track of appliance warranties
  • Paying maintenance, property tax, or utility bills
  • Storing important household documents
  • Remembering which plumber, electrician, or technician you used last time

I'm not looking for the "perfect" answer—I genuinely want to understand what people actually do today.

Some questions:

  • Do you rely on memory, WhatsApp, Notes, Calendar, spreadsheets, or something else?
  • Is one person in your family responsible for remembering everything?
  • What's the most frustrating part of managing these household tasks?
  • Have you ever forgotten something important? What happened?
