I need answers the way a fish needs a bicycle. A lot.
This is genuinely one of the greatest wardrobe failures in television history.
The blue cow print. Streaks of gold. The gray plaid collared dress underneath.
Then cutting off the sleeves, creating heinous matching leg warmers.
There are simply too many competing crimes happening here at once.
It looks like someone had a stroke, combined a school uniform, a picnic table and a milk carton and said "ta-da"
For shame.
What makes it even more offensive, this is so profoundly anti-Annie. Her wardrobe is always cute, feminine, polished and deliberately put together. This looks like the costume department had 30 seconds, found scrap patterns and threw it on her as she was running to set.
Guys, this is our Annie were talking about.
I genuinely need to know who designed this, who approved it, and most importantly who saw the final footage and decided none of this needed to be corrected and had to drag her down with them, and Annie deserves better.
I know the show basically points us toward Annie, and I know Harmon has said Annie was his answer, but I've been rewatching the ACB episode and I genuinely think Chang is more plausible than people give credit for.
Look at the behavior of the ACB. First of all, extremely weird, obsessive and invasive -- but most importantly; completely unnecessary and motivated by a desire to make people feel powerless and vulnerable. Very Chang. Then his pun of interchanging Chang with Change, though I know the meaning doesnt ever translate to coins, it's a straw grasp.
Then his faking being a teacher, eating his twin in utero, sleeping with a charred mannequin leg, staging a coup n kidnapping the Dean, having a child army, faking amnesia and just creating elaborate schemes throughout the seasons; sneaking around campus and putting quarters in people's asses seems like one of his more normal hobbies.
Psychologically we also know ACB isn't about quarters. It's about humiliation and control. ACB gets a weird power trip from knowing they violated someone's personal space and making the entire campus paranoid. I'm not even saying Chang is the ACB the entire time through. I actually think the multiple ACB theory makes sense. Maybe there was an original ACB, then somebody else copied and so on, and so on, excetraah.
The whole thing w Chang punching Duncan while holding a roll of quarters could obviously just be a joke, but this is Community. The show that loves throwing completely random details in that become elaborate theories and suspicions later on.
Chang also had faculty access during the original ACB incidents. Annie's whole investigation depended on the ACB being able to move around Greendale quickly and access places normal students couldn't have. Either the faculty lounge, or...the vents?
The show makes it impossible to establish one continuous identity, so I'm not saying Chang is definitively the ACB. Just saying if someone told me Chang was the Ass Crack Bandit during an earlier period and then someone else eventually took over the role, it would make much sense to me.
Maybe I'm overthinking this. But then this is r/Community, so obviously we're going to overthink who puts quarters in everyone's asses.
Chang my mind.
Little me would be elated 😆🧜♀️✨💕
Unbeknownst to younger fans, "Kiss From a Rose” was a 90's love ballad from Batman Forever, which makes their performance hilarious on its own, but imagining the Dean immersed in a fantasy of being Nicole Kidman and Jeff being Val Kilmer makes it all the better.
One of the best things about the show is that it really rewards you for remembering the weirdest details and being able to expand far beyond what was originally intended. It's a palamino.
Currently watching Origins of Vampire Mythology and paused it right at Annie's quickened and panicked Blade impression. Though paused, I heard anyway. Wrinkled my brain.
And the Dean reaction just because.
I'd love to see you guys comment your fav 'audible stills' :)
I know most people don't like the puppet episode, but I couldn't resist.
This group has a real problem with resistance.
The energy drink is called Zip Zop Zooey. Love this little insert.
My lowlow is a bengal and a rescue. She's been the sweetest most loving furbaby since the day I brought her home. She sleeps on my chest and makes many biscuits on my tummy. I have 5 cats whom I love, but she's always felt like a destiny fulfilled in my heart💕🙏🐾
I don't know if I feel bad for Slater or relish in her delightful nonsensical departure.
PS. I truly never thought I'd love a TV Show this much, I would have been ecstatic just to be a standing extra in any episode. If I could choose, I would have loved to thrown a question out to Jesus Abed when the spiritual inquiry is taking place in the cafeteria. or at the Inspector Spacetime convention dressed to the 9s as a sexy Minerva lol
Who would you guys like to have been cast as an extra?
They will not recall what was discussed previous to this interruption, nor discourse any further on such matters, at least until birds do their birding elsewhere.
Yes, it was difficult to pause in between the super fast page flipping scenes. I couldn't get some of them to come out clear enough. The ones I did get are pretty cool, cool, cool.
And yes, I need to get a life. Nonetheless, I hope you enjoy :)
