Let’s hear all the N63 hate and love.

So my full bolt on x5 is about to enter enthusiast category.

Current mods
- Catted Downpipe (200 Cell)
- WMI capable upgraded aluminum charge pipe
- front mount intakes
- Custom 93 Tune for ECU and TCU
- 0.022in gapped NGK plugs 1 step colder
- bottle resonators 12 inch
- 630whp/676wtq -> 750bhp/780lbft

Mods in the works.
- Upgraded stage 1 DIY trans kit (950wtq capable)
- Custom s63tu4 mimic (even higher flow than s63) exhaust manifold. Cross bank 4 way exhaust manifold
- Z pipe Exhaust
- Ceramic coated and heat shielded downpipe
- Turbo Blanket

Ultimate goals (not planned)
- stage 3 water meth injection
- big turbo

Goals
Reliably hit 800whp/800wtq -> 1000crank on 93. Custom manifold will reduce heat within the hot vee layout and improve throttle response and mainly sound characteristic (theoretically it should maintain the n63 deep rumble while also bringing it exotic aggressive sound of the s63). Upgraded trans should handle 800 wtq well. And z pipe should also give it a more exotic sound, but if it doesn’t work well I will replace with traditional x pipe.

My main objective is to show people you can take an unpopular platform and make something fun and new out of it and push boundaries. Another thing is to show that you don’t have to be a car guy to explore this fun stuff, I am by profession a quant, it’s my 3rd month modding this car anyone can learn and do it. I still can’t do my own oil change haha (jk). But let me know what yall think. Any advice or criticism is welcome
