27M moving out for the first time, seeking advice
Hi guys. I'm long overdue to move out, I'm still living with my father but I believe it's time for me to get my own place, I'm not happy living at home anymore. A few things about myself:
- I'm single
- I have a stable, albeit mediocre paying job
- I have a lot of money saved up
- I don't have very many personal belongings
I'm not satisfied with my work situation currently, but it is stable and maybe that's good, it can afford me to spend more time getting ready to move. I don't know how concerned I should be about this, some advice on this would be appreciated.
I'm just looking for any advice that I can get. I have no idea how to get my stuff ready or what I should be doing first. I also don't really know what I need to have with me to move, or what the apartment will be able to provide already. If anybody has any educational resources that could help, I would appreciate that as well. I don't really feel comfortable talking to my father about this, and I don't really have anybody irl who I feel like could actually support me. So any help from anyone is appreciated!
