Fnatic Valorant parterneship with an actual play?

Hey everyone!

I’m not sure about posting this, it’s not exactly my place, and Reddit probably isn’t the most suited place for it either, but I’m not sure there is a good way to bring up ideas to FNC execs anyway, so, I hope you’ll bear with me, and hopefully this post can draw attention from Tanni, Davard or someone content and community related in FNC.

So, long story short, I do watch a lot of actual play on Twitch and Youtube (streamed DnD campaigns). I’m mostly found of a French show called Game of Rôles and they were explaining once how a big part of their economic model were sponsored episodes. And, indeed, they’ve had episodes sponsored by a variety of brands going from Final Fantasy XIV to a bank, an NGO protecting birds or a French spatial agency. Sometimes its just product activation, sometimes its one-shot episodes with a story related to sponsors (on top of my head I remember a specific episode where the plot was a student moving into a shared house, to promote an insurance company), and sometimes it includes guests from the sponsor (a French astronaut playing during an episode, for instance).

And so I wondered, was a featuring / parternship/ sponsoring with an actual play ever considered for Fnatic? Because it feels like it would be a match made in heaven. A show like Critical Role has like 14 million views on its most watched video on YT, and their weekly releases range between 30K and 500K views. With a personality like Boaster, its pretty easy to imagine him stealing the spotlights during an episode, and I’m pretty sure it would make for very fun content for those of us that already know about Fnatic and want to see our favorite players. And it would bring interest from people that would discover Fnatic through this type of show. There are also a thousand ways to imagine how an esport team or event could be integrated to a one-shot story, and it feels like it would be a win/win for everybody included.

Again, it’s probably not my place to bring up this type of idea but, hey, you gotta advocate for the content you wanna see, so I had to try, and hopefully, this sparks interest!

Thanks for reading me, and have a good day!

FF XIV and hand pain

Hello everybody!

I'm not sure this deserve a thread of its own or if I should post in the megathread. If a full post feels unnecessary, let me know and I'll delete it, but as its more a health than game question, I thought it would make sense to make a post that others players could find easily.

Anyway, I came back to the game after several years without playing it, and, as much as I fell in love with it again, coming back also reminded me how stressful the game was for my hands. I’ve been dealing with pretty bad tendinitis for the last … Decade now, and having so much buttons to press really isn’t ideal for me lol.

Thus this post. I figured that maybe I could buy an MMO mouse, but then I realized that overusing my thumb with 12 keys to press wasn’t probably the smartest idea. This being said, I wonder if some of you that could experience pain while playing as well tried to cycle between regular keyboard bindings, and mmo mouse binding. I thought that maybe I could use both depending on where I hurt the most, but I’m not sure it’s the idea of the year, specially considering a good mmo mouse is expensive. I’d really love to have any feedbacks on the topic before committing to one, and I’m looking forward to read you!

Have a great day!

EDIT : I got so many answers, I’m really amazed. Answering to y’all will be the finishing-blow for my hands (joking), but y’all are really a goated community, the praises were not exaggerated!

To answer to all of you, I think I might try controller first, and see if it makes it for me, if not, I might commit to the Hori pad or a MMO mouse and see how it goes, before looking into more … Extreme alternatives. Again, I can stress enough how amazed at how nice and helpful y’all are, so… thanks for the help and the kindness!

EDIT 2 : I’m starting to actually hurt from answering (and I also I’ve work to do lol) so I’m going to start answering a bit less, but I’ll keep reading comments, and once again, I’m really amazed at all the help I’m getting. I’ve many option to look for thanks to y’all, and I couldn’t be more grateful!
