Hot take - Fnatic Valo is going to end up as their CS and LOL team.

Fnatic has been going down this path for years now where they fail to retain or attract high calibre players just because they refuse to pay competitive salaries. Chronicle is considered the GOAT of valorant, has incredible stats and agent pool, still it wasn’t enough for them to match Vitality’s offer. Although this isn’t the only factor in this move, but it plays a part to some extent. There are some rumours as the agents involved in this transfer would stand to gain the most, which could’ve impacted the move, but let’s be honest, if Fnatic would’ve offered Chronicle the same as Vitality, I can’t see a world where he wouldn’t have stayed considering how much he expressed his love and willingness to play for the team.

Unfortunately, Fnatic will lose the relevance in Valo the same as other Esports if they couldn’t even realise their shortcomings.

FNC Valorant appreciation post

With the year done for the Valorant team, it feels like end of an Era.

Valorant team had their ups and down since the beginning. but they always kept our hearts pumping, sometimes a little too close to bursting.

The first ever masters in 21 where they had a lower bracket run. that felt so good to watch. I loved supporting them. They didn't win the finals but they left their mark.

The next few international competition became a sacrifice of Covid Era. 22 we tried to rebuild but things didn't work. mix of problems that were out of their control. but still, they performed well.

2023 was the absolute peak. Two new people joined the team and the best roster of valorant history was made. They achieved something that others teams still try to replicate. from watching the insane comeback in lock in. many fans lost their mind with that come back. nothing could eclipse that. (I know 1-11 comeback is bigger but the the result matter too. And the stunned faces of Brazilian fans. iconic)

Then master Tokyo where they dominated everyone. this was the best of year of FNC valorant. the fans loved them, others hated them for winning two trophies and wished for their downfall.

24 was avg year in comparison. They had won two international and nothing but another trophy could make their year feel worthwhile. but they didn't perform bad.

In twenty five, two new people joined. Derke left to another team, Leo got sick. it wasn't looking good but the fans always supported the team. they reached two international finals, ( 3 if you count EWC) the result was unfortunate but the journey was so amazing. i loved every part of it. even the heart break. it happens. sometimes things don't go the way you want to. But you could see players and team enjoying their year, laughing and having fun.

Ohne losing his mind at Boaster antics, the speech before champs finals. it was absolute entertainment. how can you not loved them for it. they tried their best, gave their best. I loved watching it all.

This year was the worst. things that were out of anyone's control disturbed the momentum. it makes me sad but...

Now the valorant is changing from next years. the players would probably go on different path. the original roster I have loved and supported had changed already, i don't know if any of them will remain next year.

I will, without doubt support the team, and the players who might leave to go to different teams. but this is the end of an era.

Derke, Doma, magnum, Leo, chronicle, Boaster, Alfa, Crashies, Kaajak. All the subs that came in time of need. They made this era of FNC remarkable.

what a ride we had...Thank you everyone!

next year we rise again!

Edit :- Someone reminded me, I forgot the coaches and team that were part of the journey. everyone was a part of it.

>"Edit: Oh and you didn't mention Mini, Milan, Phil and Davard, but shout out to them as well, they played a part just as important into that fairy tale of a team! #Alwaysfnatic works for coaches and social's admins as well!"

Thoughts on NAVI and their future in LEC

What I like about NAVI is the cleanness of their games. They are a team where everyone knows their role and responsibilities with pression, but lacks star power. They dont play selfless, they almost feel like robots following protocol. I feel next year they will look to get a star player to play around and if it works we will have a very strong NAVI team at least for a while and a large name in the LEC. And I think they will do good as well. Idk, does anybody have the same impression ? You may ask why post here, well after the two wins I was thinking of fnatic winning the split of course, classic cope abd that was a threat I saw for the following year if the team keeps improving.

Any English YT reviewers covering the games from yesterday?

I want to ride the hype while we have the chance. I would love to rewatch the games with other people commenting on it. I watched Caedrel's video but he's become quite unwatchable for me, unfortunately. After draft, he barely talks about the game and mostly just memes throughout the entire game. Shame.

But are there respected people on YT who covered the games? Or even if they didn't upload yet, but you know they will upload, I would appreciate the name a lot. Thank you

Well fuck the haters?

Vladi and Razork gapped caps skew and soboro is probably one of the best decisions from the management. Upset is alway good, but rn with Lospa are looking super solid in lane. We are back))

Boaster hints that it might be the last time we see him with Fnatic jersey

For context : he was wearing a FNC x VCT tee-shirt. If he's not playing for Fnatic for 2027 and decide to go to China, I won't blame him. Wish you best of luck, you will be missed.

Many people were against him leaving and were saying the Upset is shit, however his performances after leaving Fnatic were almost the same(just invisible the whole game). Do you still think that he would be still a better option ?

Why is it hard for Fnatic to convert fan to the other games ?

Why is it so hard for fnatic (or esport org in general) to convert their fans from one game to another ?

For example, a lot of Fnatic Fans are only Leagues fans, only Valorant Fans or only CS Fans. Is it that hard to make the transition, if you never play/watch the other games ?

And for the smaller games, like Apex Legends for example, is it because the tournament format/game is confusing at first ? Because I had this issue for R6/Delta Force/The Finals/Apex. I did not understand the tournament format, when/why they played, the rules of the best-ofs, the rules of the game and everything. I had to do all the research myself (because I like learning and like Fnatic). Would it help if there was, like a video that explain the rule of the game, the rule of the Best-of ?

FNC Upset "if you win a lot more in practice than on stage, there's probably something wrong. Maybe people put too much pressure on themselves" | Fnatic's botlaner on their stage problem, Soboro, and what's left of their season

  • About the difficult start : "This whole year hasn't been easy for us, we've been around sixth or seventh for most of it. We're just not very good right now. It sounds very simple, but that's the reality."
  • On the scrims-vs-stage block: "As a team, if you win a lot more in practice than on stage, there's probably something wrong. Maybe people put too much pressure on themselves, they feel they have to play a lot better than they do, and when things don't go well on stage, they feel really bad about it."
  • On Soboro replacing Empyros: "We definitely needed a change in some regard, but it wasn't like Empyros was the only problem and everyone else was playing great, otherwise we wouldn't have been in that position in the first place. So far, I think Soboro is playing quite well."
  • On why Fnatic haven't gone mage bot: draft flexibility is over forcing it. "As you can see in the LCK, the percentage of mages played was around 10%." And with the incoming patch: "I do think it's going to be much more AD carry-focused again, which I prefer. I hope all AD carries prefer AD carries."
  • On the "Fnatic funnels everything bot" narrative: "That's just a misconception about how the game works. Resources are given to a lane that's winning, because that creates pressure. It's not a specific Fnatic strategy."
  • On the team pulling in the same direction: "The way we talk to each other is definitely fine. But the individual gameplay also just needs to be better, because the team game is built on how individuals make decisions."
  • On what's realistically left: "With this start, it would be foolish to think we're favourites to go to Worlds. We have to do everything we can to make the fans proud, to salvage this year a little, and also for ourselves."

FNC not being competitive is just killing the LEC for me

Look I was tired so I switched teams and my mental health is getting better, but FNC not being competitive this year just feels empty. G2 and KC have given more hope for EU as a region internationally, and honestly every international competition have been amazing to watch this year...

However the LEC this year feels so empty to watch (regionally), and as much as I moved on from being a FNC fan, man I don't care about more than half of the other teams.

As a doomer I don't see FNC getting past the "nerve issue" this year after more than 2 splits, so I really wish 2027 is gonna bring winds of hopes, because imo the LEC isn't a fun product to watch if FNC isn't a competitive team.
