New Information from Al Lio about FNC's offseason and share selling negotiations

They released a new video on their twitter and youtube accounts that clarifies some details form the previously shared leaks. Here is the translated TLDR:

  • Both orgs that have started negotiaions with fnatic are actually Esport orgs
  • They both rejected Fnatic's first offers but they are still willing to keep negotiations on
  • Fnatic wants to keep their brand name and logo
  • Fnatic wants to do a full restructuring of the org, NOBODY HAS ITS POSITION SECURED.
  • Fnatic can't do any signings if they can't sell the shares before summer or if they don't bench razork
  • Fnatic is looking at rookie tops and supports but they aren't guaranteed changes.
  • Fnatic is only willing to pay buyouts if the player fits for a 2027 project.

Honestly some of those points seem so good they must have a catch lol

Twitter post link. Thanks @/CATXALOTE_ for the summary.

Is it weird that I'm sad Fnatic is getting sold ?

Yes, you read it right. I don't know why but I'm sad Fnatic is getting sold. I guess I always thought that Fnatic will always be a legacy esport org, and that maybe a Fnatic player would take control, like what xpeke did with Astralis. I don't know, the though of Krimz being the mini-cArn of Counter-Strike or Yellowstar working for the League division or Cojo being the new CGO when cArn retires, or a fnatic fan would take control of the org or something.

I'm mad at the managment. I'm 36 years old, and was a Fnatic fan since the beginning, they were part of the majority of my life, and when I look at how the things turned out, I'm just mad. Turning the best esport org into a laughting joke that nobody wants to play for.

I'm sad Fnatic is getting sold. I'm mad at the managment for all the decision that lead to this.

Sources: Al Lío Podcast

Just saw a clip on Twitter and apparently we're not making changes for next split.

We're also in talks with 2 football clubs to either get fully bought out or sell big part of the shares.

One of these clubs is German which honestly I still don't know how to feel about it because I have a big background in football and the German league was never one of my favorites but anyway what ya'll think? Which club could it be? I think we can cross out almost half of Bundesliga since we ain't selling cheap.

P.S. On the clip that I saw I couldn't quite understand the last segment but I got the feeling they were talking about a possible scenario for us to make changes and it had something to do with Razork and the negotiations with the clubs but yeah didn't get what they meant and if any of you came across it and know whats up please do tell.

FNC is about to expire

So in the past few months/years, one could count on the fingers of one hand the posts about other esports apart from LoL. It's quite surprising to realize that in the past two weeks the percentage of Valorant posts (or in which Valorant is somewhat mentioned) is more than 50/60%.

And no, it's not about the success (or lack thereof) of one or another, because even in the Valorant team's prime, there wasn't much fuss in the sub.

Don't get me wrong, I don't mind it; but here comes the conspiracy:

This sub is full of shills, who are trying to "glaze" and "widen" the external perception of the community so they can sell the org at the highest value possible, because FNC has its days numbered.

No more content (except for Valorant) ?

Is there a reason why there isn't any more content, aside from the Valorant division ? And by “content,” I mean something other than recap/apologies/reflections videos. I'm talking about content where the players themselves can show their personalities with or without other content creators.

  • Fnatic League
    • Last Fnatic Vlog/LiA : 3 weeks ago
    • Last Fnatic Voicecomms : 3 months ago
    • Last Fnatic minigames/teach noobs : 3 months ago
  • Fnatic CS
    • Last Youtube video : 11 months ago
    • Last Twitter video : 4 months ago
    • Last Fnatic voicecomms : 3 year ago (???)
  • Fnatic Japan
    • Last Youtube video : 6 months ago
    • Last Twitter video : 2 weeks ago
  • Fnatic R6
    • Last video : 11 months ago
  • Other Fnatic video
    • TFT with Frodan : 1 year ago
    • TFT with Catawin : 9 months ago

Now, I just found out by writing this post that Fnatic has a special youtube channel for CS and R6 (Fnatic FPS for those who wants to check it out). I understand why the Japanese youtube channel can't seem to produce any content, since the social media guy is alone and doing the work of 3 people.

I'm genuinely curious why, no hate on the content team, they do a good job for Valorant, I like the videos, but is there a reason we don't see the other teams as much ? Is it because they keep losing so no content allowed ? Is it because the GM do not want to do content and focus on performance ? Is it because you don’t have any ideas for new videos ? Is it because you are not allowed to set up a camera for a behind the scenes to share that with the fans ? Is it because the videos have few or no views, so it’s not worth the effort ?

Fnatic Valorant parterneship with an actual play?

Hey everyone!

I’m not sure about posting this, it’s not exactly my place, and Reddit probably isn’t the most suited place for it either, but I’m not sure there is a good way to bring up ideas to FNC execs anyway, so, I hope you’ll bear with me, and hopefully this post can draw attention from Tanni, Davard or someone content and community related in FNC.

So, long story short, I do watch a lot of actual play on Twitch and Youtube (streamed DnD campaigns). I’m mostly found of a French show called Game of Rôles and they were explaining once how a big part of their economic model were sponsored episodes. And, indeed, they’ve had episodes sponsored by a variety of brands going from Final Fantasy XIV to a bank, an NGO protecting birds or a French spatial agency. Sometimes its just product activation, sometimes its one-shot episodes with a story related to sponsors (on top of my head I remember a specific episode where the plot was a student moving into a shared house, to promote an insurance company), and sometimes it includes guests from the sponsor (a French astronaut playing during an episode, for instance).

And so I wondered, was a featuring / parternship/ sponsoring with an actual play ever considered for Fnatic? Because it feels like it would be a match made in heaven. A show like Critical Role has like 14 million views on its most watched video on YT, and their weekly releases range between 30K and 500K views. With a personality like Boaster, its pretty easy to imagine him stealing the spotlights during an episode, and I’m pretty sure it would make for very fun content for those of us that already know about Fnatic and want to see our favorite players. And it would bring interest from people that would discover Fnatic through this type of show. There are also a thousand ways to imagine how an esport team or event could be integrated to a one-shot story, and it feels like it would be a win/win for everybody included.

Again, it’s probably not my place to bring up this type of idea but, hey, you gotta advocate for the content you wanna see, so I had to try, and hopefully, this sparks interest!

Thanks for reading me, and have a good day!

Fans don't even have the energy to ask for changes anymore.

After the organization’s worst performance, we’re left with a disgraceful video that doesn’t even hint at the possibility of any changes, despite the complete absence of potential of this roster.

Mihile still has nothing to do in erl, after years of dominating in strong side, this year he's shifted his playstyle to weak side and is super good, he's the logical choice to replace Empyros.

And other than that, it’s also the best possible timing to at least try to get Yukino. He said in an interview that he’ll never return to NA and that he wants to play in LEC as soon as possible because he feels he’s too good for erl.
His plans no longer align with KC, especially with Yike being so important for the team and with already two imports in the team.
However, I don’t think he’d agree to join such a disastrous org.

That’s two potential changes that could completely transform the team, and I notice no one is asking for at least one of them here, I think we’ve passed the point of no return.

If the org continue to wait until the last minute to sign mid or terrible players and just try to save money just to survive little longer, I hope this org will die quickly so we can all be free and finally support another team that actually wants to win.

1 Bad split & changes happen for Valorant???

I'll preface this by saying that I have no beef with the Val fans & Fnc side of Valorant

How on EARTH is Valorant getting a change in head coaches after 1 bad split? Which wasn't the fault of anyone (and also no fan seems happy about this change) but the league team is blatantly left to rot away, I am utterly speechless at the level of favouritism the upper management shows. I get the Val team is more successful & makes internationals, I get that they generally have a bigger audience than League. But come the fuck on, how on earth has the league side been the running joke of EU for the last 2 years & the only changes that have happened is

Dardo was out but wasn't really out

We blundered Noah & Jun

We mental boomed humanoid

We threw away Poby after 1 split

We got the 1 season wonder Vladi

& Vladi got his friends in the team

& We have yet to reach a domestic final again in nearly 2 years (the last time this happened was 01/09/2024)

Oh and to top it off we got absolutely rolled by an ERL team 2-0 to knock us out of EWC qualifies

Can we just sell the LoL spot and make an exodia valorant team or something at this point?

FNATIC could've been the best team of all time ?

I noticed they was the runners up in Champs 2025, Masters Toronto 2025 and E'W'C 25?? If they would've won all those 3 tournaments can we all agree they would've been the best Valorant team hands down? It's crazy looking back to see how many times they were so close to the trophies. I guess that's why Chronicle left FNATIC? Why you think they lost those 3 tournaments just better teams or is it rigged lol but no fr I'm curious about what people think. I'm new to the Valorant competitive so I was just looking on the websites to see the past tournaments.

2 games, 2 different fans

On the one hand, there are fans who want to send messages of encouragement to the players

On the other hand, there are fans who want to burn the entire roster (one/two players in particular) and start from scratch next year.

Is it the beginning of Fnatic Valorant downfall ?

We won't make worlds and champs, mark my words. This is the end of Fnatic, with Valorant going downhill.

Lose caps -> become irrelevant

Lose JW + Flusha -> become irrelevant

Lose Chronicle -> become irrelevant

Lose Yukaf -> become irrelevant

History just repeat itself. A minute of silence for the fnc valorant fans, that just start to understand what the lol fans feel

The Only Split Summary You Will Ever Need

Hello, long term FNC fan here, here since the beginning.

Obviously it doesn't come as a surprise to me that my early prediction about fighting for 6th came true but that's not why we're here.

Anyhow, since each one of my posts has clowns replying about which players to change I have decided to immediately take care of you. In this infographic I added a clown section for you and as a critique to the management. So here's a thought experiment for clowns. Instead of commenting which player needs to be changed, just explain why do you expect players performing if they are backed up by such confusing and contradictory support. Once you explain that away we can talk about which player needs to go.

Either way, you can refer to any of my previous posts for explanations of what is going on and how we, as fans, should approach supporting the team.

Things are going to change until management changes completely

That's it.

The problem aren't, for the most part, the players or coaches. Countless players have come and gone, but the management has mostly remained the same.

That being said, they will not remove themselves, they will continue to find scapegoats. So the ship will continue to sink until they leave LoL, which will probably happen sooner than later.

I hope I am wrong.

title fix:
Things aren't* going to change until management changes completely
