Am I being baited into paying premium?
I (26m) deleted my old profile then recreated Wednesday, and I got a like Friday morning. Her profile is photo verified but also travel mode with no location. What's also weird is that despite having notifications turned on, I was not notified of getting this like, and only saw it when I opened the app.
Rant part
I could have sworn back then maybe a year and a half ago you got free chat extensions, but it seems Bumble cannot stick to ONE standard thing consistently to save their lives(or company). It legitimately feels like they're incentivized to enshittify the user experience to push you into paying their steadily increasing premium price. This is why I and a female friend (we tried dating a little bit but we had our differences) stopped using Bumble and moved to Hinge. Hell, I had more matches on Facebook dating in the past week then Bumble's 5 or so in 2 years. Of course Facebook probably has lower quality matches in my opinion so it kinda balances out.
