Internet issues with ethernet while both the console and PC are hardwired into router
Hi y'all, Ive exhausted all my normal tech support options so I figured I'd throw this to the wind and try here. Long story short, whenever my xbox series X and PC tower are both hardwired into my router (Nighthawk AX3000) my xbox doesnt get any internet through ethernet. Unplugging my pc from ethernet fixes it. I dont know why, I don't know how and Ive done the following:
•Power cycle my modem, router, and series X
•Factory reset my series X
•Changed the port number
•assigned a static ip
•cleared out my routers ARP table
•Assigned my series X a custom IP and DNS to the google servers, then tried to assign it a custom IP when that failed
•Got new ethernet cords
•Factory reset the router.
•Created a whole new netgear account and tried to completely reset the ARP table
•cleared the alternative mac address on the xbox
•Updated the routers firmware and have the xbox completely updated.
I might be missing a few things but I'm starting to feel heavily discouraged at this point. Im not sure whats left to do and don't got the cash to buy another xbox if things are truly dire. Am I just that stupid or am I missing something?
