I’m looking to purchase a used Gemeinhard student flute and there are two eBay listings near me with identical prices. I tried to find the difference between the two models and the only difference I could find listed online is that they come in different cases. Here are the two eBay listings for reference: 2SP, 1SP. Which one would be better to purchase for a beginner?
I've been playing jazz guitar for years now and want to try to pick up a smaller instrument while I study abroad this summer and am most interested in learning flute (I'm a huge Jobim fan). What are some recommendations for a cheap flute that I could buy and use to practice? I'm definitely not going to gig or perform with this instrument because I'll just do that with my main instrument, but I want something else I can practice and get a different look at things from. I probably will want to buy used as well, because I would prefer something as cheap as possible. Thanks for the recommendations!
