So I was given a G290 without a power supply and a broken breakaway cord.

before I plugged this in my pc would recognise the G290 once i plugged it in it turned on and went to calibrate though i had to pull it out cause i didn't think it would start spinning, anyway once i plugged it back in the light kept flashing and my pc no longer picks up the wheel.

should I risk buying a oem power supply and break away cable or its probably fucked?
