Massive Attack's Angel, how did they manage to put that much bass in without mud?

Massive Attack's Angel is probably the go-to reference for testing bass on headphones, speakers, monitors, or audio equipment in general. I'm always baffled by this song because of how much bass they've put in it without it sounding muddy. How the hell did they manage to do it?

Wikipedia lists not 1, not 2, but 3 bass guitarists for this song. There's also this bass cover I've seen with 2 bass tracks. My guess is they probably had multiple bass tracks in this song, maybe one a synth bass?:

Probably the loudest song ever recorded in history: Gerogerigegege's self-titled track on Moenai Hai(2016). How did they manage to do it?

Sorry if this is the wrong sub. I wanted to post this on r/audioengineering, but my posts keep getting removed. In my life, I've heard a lot of songs, but there's one song that has always baffled me with how loud it is: Gerogerigegege's self-titled track on Moenai Hai(2016).

VOLUME WARNING: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mZGNTx6SrrE

So how did they do it? There's probably a lot more to it than overcompression or limiting. Or am I just overcomplicating it?

I made an Epic Extended Post-Rock Remix of Compass with extra lyrics and wanted to share it.

Warning: This video contains rapid flashing colors.

I used to play Limbus Company, but I deleted my account because I wanted to spend more time learning to make music.

I've always wanted to make a remix of Mili's Compass because it's my favorite song in the game. The biggest problem is that the climax and the chorus are WAY TOO short. There aren't enough vocal materials to work with. The chair mix did this by extending the guitar. So I guess why not make Kasane Teto sing it then? So here it is. I went the extra mile, wrote extra lyrics, composed and rearranged everything, guitars, drums, and all that.

I wrote a program to print the lyrics and flash different screens at the end. There's no way I'm manually doing all that.

For the ending, I lifted the drum patterns from Jane Doe by Converge. If you like this song, please check them out:
