Positive Leep Experience (so far)
Hi there everyone! F28, I have a toddler- 2 and a half (terrible two, confirmed they are terrible). I have undergone leep/lletz yesterday afternoon and decided to be the reassurance someone might need, since I found some in the posts here!
The backstory-since pregnancy (and prb before) I have had an ectopion, the PAP was always between II and IIIA, HR HPV NEGATIVE, colpo - visible ectopion, biopsy last year said CIN I and doc decided to wait and see if it heals itself because I am young. In the meantime I have healed ureaplasma and BV, but PAP was still IIIA, so we decided to not wait anymore and just go for it.
Day 0 - I went into the doctors office yesterday scared af, procedure lasted no more than 2min tops, NO PAIN WHATSOEVER (with local anaesthetic-also not painful, just a weird feeling in the cervix but deffo not even close ti the biopsy pain last year!) afterwards- no pain, no cramps, no discharge. Went to buy a cake for my bravery afterwards 🤣 tiredness after but nothing more than being sleepy
Day 1 - some dizziness, some very very mild discharge, drops, not more, no pain, no cramps whatsoever, resting more today just in case
For anyone wondering-do it, not painful, definitely better than wait and wonder “what if my next smear comes bad again”
Will share updates and if anyone has a question-ask in the comments.
Day 2 - had a brisk walk, some more discharge coming out, no foul smell, pinkish with some jelly like consistency(likely from the blood stopping thing she inserted after the procedure was done) still no pain, no discomfort whatsoever
Day 3 - worked all day, as if nothing ever happened (homeoffice, but still sitting for 8 hours) no change in discharge, no discomfort
NB-I did it in Bulgaria, private doctor, no waiting and we have decided the date (right after period as per her advice)
