Big Walk GOTY?
Marked as spoilers because the first photo was taken >!on the final beach after exiting the orb!<
This game is a masterpiece. I've been playing it simultaneously with two groups, one with only 2 players, and the other with 4-5 players, and I haven't gotten bored of it yet. I just finished the game (not 100%) with my one friend, and the ending made me tear up. The experiences I've had of playing this game from start to finish have been some of the most enjoyable currently-20 hours I've ever put into any game ever. Everything is so lovingly crafted for maximum low-stress enjoyment.
I have to say that, in the entire game, I only found one single puzzle that I didn't like. Spoilers for a major puzzle, if you want to stay blind. >!It was the red walled off area pegboard puzzle near the yellow tower. I found the final few hidden pieces to be a little frustrating to locate, and I was worried we weren't doing it correctly since there was no obvious solution. Even so, I didn't dislike the puzzle, it just wasn't particularly one I found fun.!<
Some of my most fond moments of the game were the silent downtimes between areas and between puzzles, the second photo being one of them. Spoilers for a minor puzzle, if you want to stay blind. >!It was taken as I was traveling to collect the statue (we lovingly called Jimothy) near the red tower, where the other person had to hold the button near the yellow tower to keep the case open. We didn't have a pair of walkie talkies, and my friend kept the radio with him, so the entire trip was done in silence. I found the round trip extremely peaceful, and I look at it as one of my personal favorite puzzles.!<
I know there's more to this game that we, either group, have yet to see, and I'm excited to spend another 20 hours figuring everything out for the 100% completion, even if I only do it once.
Thank you, House House.
