I worked so hard last night to merge and properly align everything only to realize this morning that my edit never synched to the cloud. So I did a new edit on my phone. I think it’s pretty neat. There’s small stuff I’ll edit better when I’m in front of my computer.

Shutter issues caused a fever dream. [Pentax 6x7 MLU, Schneider Cine Xenon 105mm f/2, Kodak Vision3 250D]

I hiked to Avalanche Lake just hours before GNP shut down and evacuated because of the storms and flooding. I ended up getting my Pentax absolutely drenched on the hike even though it was packed away but I decided to shoot a roll anyway. I knew something had seized three or four shots in but I kept blasting until I got through the roll. I thought it was going to a wasted roll but I’m pleasantly surprised. You guys might like it too. I don’t know what the exact issue was because it seemed to have fixed itself once dry.

My 7th Sequioa sempervirens grown from a seed, 1st time considering bonsai.

As the title suggests, this is my 7th Sequioa sempervirens grown from a seed that I’ve gotten from various areas around the West Coast. It’s the 1st time I’m considering trying my hand at bonsai now that I’ve got almost a decade of experience and heart break raising these beautiful trees. I wanted to know if anyone had experience raising this particular species as bonsai and if they could part some wisdom with me for the coming years. It sprouted late June so realistically I’ll start the actual process in about 2 years from now. Once it survives its first winter I’m usually golden and I’m pretty confident in raising a healthy tree, my only concern is killing it trying something new. This is from a batch of seeds I was able to collect much further north and at a higher altitude then my other trees so I’m hoping it’s also a bit more tolerant to harsh conditions/stresses. Thank you in advance!

First time using film and it’s at a wedding, where are the photos?

Bride asked to see some shots and I pulled out the film but to my surprise there was nothing!?!?

Just kidding, I had to sacrifice one of my rerolled Vision3s for the spool. I figured I’d have a laugh and give some people PTSD.
