Centipedes or Tarantulas?

I live in Australia so I can only keep native inverts, this unfortunately leads to only having more "dangerous" varieties available. I've kept wolf spiders and isopods but that's the extent of it.

I've ALWAYS wanted to keep tarantulas and centipedes however I would have to keep them in my room and I have a cat. I would be devastated if something happened to her (she's a big fluffy 5kg black cat lol). I have already got previously used sliding magnetic lid acrylic invert enclosures, however I'm happy to get something more secure if needed.

These are the species available in my area;

Tarantulas;

- Phlogius sp. Stents

- Phlogius sp. Kuranda

- Phlogius sp. Proserpine

- Coremiocnemis sp Semi Social Pygmy

Centipedes;

- Ethmostigmus rubripes

So which would be best?
