Full/Complete Layer Cornea Transplant
I had pretty good eyesight after having cataracts done in JAN & FEB 2025. Also had some YAG done. It did cause cornea issues called Fuchs Dystrophy. Had DMEK cornea procedures for both eyes JUL & SEP. Still had a bit of blurry/haze in top right quadrant of right eye. Did a scrapping procedure of thick dead epithelial layer of cornea called SK for short in early DEC. Bottom line is my eye did not react well to this and started having cornea erosion (the eye lid sticks to the new layer and rips it) which causes scaring. So basically my right eye now is a constant watery blurry mess & can make out a bit of images and a bit of coloring. Now at 64 having a complete cornea transplant on AUG 6th and a bit nervous about everything. Besides what I've read does anyone have some advice for me based on your experience(s).... I'd appreciate hearing good & bad. Thanks
